John "Sean" Halpin of Blooming Grove NY entered into rest on Saturday January 6, 2018.The son of Ellen and Leo Halpin, he was born in Dublin Ireland in 1942.

John is survived by his wife Deanna of 46 years, his son Neil and fiance Margarget, daughter Erin and Husband Alan, son Sean and wife Jovan, daughter Tara and husband Nick, and grandchildren Lucas, Julia, Isabella, Lilianna, Rose, Sean Jr., and Bridie. Brothers Tony, Noel, Joseph, Leo, Christy, Philip, sister Cora (and spouses), pre-deceased by sisters Patricia and Helen, and many nieces and nephews....

John is survived by his wife Deanna of 46 years, his son Neil and fiance Margarget, daughter Erin and Husband Alan, son Sean and wife Jovan, daughter Tara and husband Nick, and grandchildren Lucas, Julia, Isabella, Lilianna, Rose, Sean Jr., and Bridie. Brothers Tony, Noel, Joseph, Leo, Christy, Philip, sister Cora (and spouses), pre-deceased by sisters Patricia and Helen, and many nieces and nephews.

Sean became an American citizen in 1972. Served in the US Army and Vietnam. He was proud of being an American citizen and loved this country. He was a member of the VFW, Post #8691. in Washingtonville NY, Washingtonville Soccer club as a coach, St. Marys choir, Irish singing group "Men in the Group". He was a retired Construction Manager working for companies like Crow Construction and Skanska USA. He was a loving Father, Grandfather, and good friend to all. He loved his vacations with family in Cape May and loved playing golf. Always celebrated life to the fullest and always made us laugh.

We will all miss you Sean!

Funeral arrangements at David T. Ferguson Funeral home (20 North St Washingtonville NY 10992) are as follows:

Wednesday January 10th 2-4 and 7-9 and Thursday 3-7. Funeral mass to be held at St, Marys Church (42 Goshen Avenue Washingtonville NY 10992) at 11:30 followed by a burial.
